Individual SkillBridge participation dates are based on military approval, transition dates, program requirements, and applicable SkillBridge rules.
Built for transitioning service members
The program is designed for eligible active-duty service members preparing to transition from military service who are interested in:
- Becoming professional barbers
- Learning a skilled trade
- Working in the barber industry
- Building a professional clientele
- Becoming independent professionals
- Entering entrepreneurship
- Eventually owning a barbershop
No previous barbering experience is required.
Applicants should be motivated, professional, dependable, willing to learn, and interested in building a civilian career. Participation remains subject to applicable military and SkillBridge approval requirements.
